Rosina (RoRo) Minnie Kahn Sapir, age 83, passed away on August 25, 2017. Beloved wife of Franklin J. Sapir for 62 years. Beloved mother of Judy E. Sapir, Debbie Sapir Tuck (Louis) and Susan Sapir-Fields. Devoted grandmother of Allan Tuck, Betsy Tuck and Courtney Fields. Daughter of the late Alvin and Edith Kahn. Sister-in-law of Judge Eddie L. Sapir and the late Peggy Sapir. Aunt of John Paul Sapir (Charlotte). Great Aunt of Charlotte Carrere Sapir and Edward Duke Sapir. Cousin of Irene Burns (Robert), Minnie Bertha Feinman and Naomie Rudelson (Harry). The family would like to especially thank Dr. Alan Yager and Dr. Fortune Dugan for the many years of tender loving care. Rosina was a lifelong member of Touro Synagogue, member of B’nai B’rith Women and worked at Willow Wood from 1981 until 2011. A devoted member for the past six years of the Circle of Friends Parkinson’s Support Group and the Louisiana Walks for Parkinson’s. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:00 am in Hebrew Rest Cemetery #3, Frenchman and Pelopidas, New Orleans. Rabbi Todd Silverman officiating. Arrangements by Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. Condolences may be expressed online at Information 504-835-2341.
